Wichita Lineman.
‘Take The Long Road’. Welsh chopper guy Dick Tree rides his jockey shift chop along a road in Wales. This is why he’s on the left side of the road because that’s the way we do it in the UK.
Road Trip. These isolated Gas Stations way out in the boonies are what’s left of the old America. Mom & Pop enterprises that scrape a living and have bucket loads more character than the National Chain businesses. This one will be familiar to many thousands of bikers who have ridden up to Sturgis through Wyoming.
This is the Gas stop at Orin Junction.
This is the Springer that I rode from Sturgis SD through Wyoming and Utah and then across the Rockies to Denver Colorado together with a few buddies.
Along the way we visited sites along the Outlaw Trail like Atlantic City and South Pass as well as Hole In The Wall.
Here it is parked up in Arches Utah.
‘Hole In The Wall’ Me and the crew went out to Hole In The Wall on our Outlaw Trail Road Trip. It’s near to Kaycee Wyoming where there is a gas station with no gas but a bar with plenty of cold beer. I guess one out of two aint bad!
Early Morning Sun.
Riding out in the chill mountain air early on a summer morning and that good feeling you get when the sun’s rays hit you and warm up the leathers.
Over My Shoulder. This is one photo on this blog that I didn’t take. My wife shot it over my shoulder as we were riding the’Enchanted Circle’ route in the mountains of New Mexico. Later that day we all took our bikes up to the DH Lawrence ranch which was a rough unsurfaced road with a river crossing. Thankfully nobody dropped their Harleys crossing the river which was only a foot deep but those smooth boulders were treacherous.
