Night Riders. In the good old days of transparency film you never really knew what result you would get in an extreme light situation like this. I would just shoot on instinct and see if it worked after getting the E6 back maybe 10 days later when I flew back to the UK. I wouldn’t commit too many frames in this sort of situation because transparency film,(Fuji Velvia and 100D often push processed a couple of stops) was expensive.
These days it’s easy to blast off dozens of frames in this kind of situation and immediately see what is working. The thing is though it might not look too hot on the camera screen but don’t delete because some photographs work well in page layouts or as book end papers. You never know.
Country Roads. Can’t beat riding through farmland smelling the grass and the hedgerows especially after a rain shower.

Butch’s Generator Shovel. Butch worked as a mechanic at Boothill Motorcycles. We took his genny shovel out into the winding lanes of Oxfordshire. Note that Butch had bought brand new boots for the photo shoot!
