Abe’s Bar. Me and my buddy Lawayne Matthies parked our bikes outside Abe’s Bar on our ride around the’Enchanted Circle’ in the mountains of New Mexico.
These are both Evo motors with the Xzotic Panhead rocker covers which Lawayne invented and patented selling them through Xzotic Cycle Products of Dallas his own company. He later sold up to Custom Chrome and now builds Trikes through his new company Mystery Designs. http://www.mysterydesigns.com/

Over My Shoulder. This is one photo on this blog that I didn’t take. My wife shot it over my shoulder as we were riding the’Enchanted Circle’ route in the mountains of New Mexico. Later that day we all took our bikes up to the DH Lawrence ranch which was a rough unsurfaced road with a river crossing. Thankfully nobody dropped their Harleys crossing the river which was only a foot deep but those smooth boulders were treacherous.

Bull O’ The Woods is one of two Saloons which face each other across the street in Red River New Mexico. I have been to the Memorial Day Red River Run two times with my buddy Lawayne From Dallas. It’s a great area to ride. The ‘Enchanted Circle’ is a circular route approx 80 miles round through the mountains.
I took our crew on a slight detour to visit the DH Lawrence ranch and tomb. What I didn’t know was that it involved riding our bikes on a rocky trail more suited to a 4X4 and we had to ride across a small river too. Luckily no-one dropped their Scoots and all agreed it was worth it to visit such a magical place complete with Humming birds.
